Food Poisoning-Shmoisoning

On Tuesday night I got sick from eating food for the first time in 11 years! I could hardly believe what was happening to me! I vomited, had a fever, ached all over, couldn't eat, didn't have the
strength to get out of bed. Unpleasant and wholly unexpected. I'm out of pain now but still exhausted, although I did manage to take a shower. Stepping on the scale I expected the small consolation of temporarily having lost weight. Alas! Am I the first person ever to emerge from food poisoning and GAIN weight? Now that's adding insult to injury.

Sheik Chandelier

With considerable difficulty, I installed this chandelier in our bedroom. Terry and I imagined what the inside of an arab prince's tent looks like (based on little more than our imaginations ) and agreed that I would decorate the bedroom with that in mind. Now that I don't have to work in the office anymore, I've started to fix up the apartment. This fixture is the first item I've selected for the bedroom.
