Very Flat Rollercoaster

We took busses and trains out to Brighton Beach for a party this afternoon. We took the Q through Brooklyn, and much of it was above ground. I was riding backwards, and enjoyed the way the view sped by as the train rocked, and how we'd be plunged into darkness without warning as we passed through tunnels. It felt to me like I was on a very flat rollercoaster ride. After having a car up here for so long, the nuisance of the ridiculously long trip (we had seven segments one-way) was offset by the novelty factor. But we are hopeful we'll be able to catch a ride
