Last night at my parents' house I determined that I had overpacked. I removed about 7 items of clothing to lighten my suitcase, wondering if I removed the right pieces. I felt reassured when I wore my chosen beach outfit this afternoon and as I crossed an intersection a woman driver waiting at the light called out from her open car window, "cute outfit!"
