We have been eagerly awaiting delivery of the new mattress we purchased back in December. I knew what headboard I wanted, just where the bed would be positioned, what I would hang on the wall above the bed. But now I have to rethink everything! This bed is so high I must hop up into it, and I'm not short! It's a good thing we have 9' ceilings! For scale I took this photo showing the nightstand we used with our old bed; it's top was even with the top of the mattress. Clearly, I need to find an alternate solution.
